Selective Student Applications Comprehensive/Local Student Applications
It is with pleasure that we announce that in 2010, Moorebank High School will have a Selective stream within our Comprehensive High School. There will be 60 places on offer in Year 7, 2010.
Moorebank High will hold a Community Meeting at the school on Wednesday 5/11/08, commencing at 7.00 p.m. for discussions and the answering of questions.
If you want your son/daughter to be considered for placement in a selective school, you will need to apply for them to sit the Selective High School Entrance Examination which will be held at Moorebank High School on Thursday 19/03/09.
Applications will arrive at your Primary school and at Moorebank High School between Tuesday 21st October and Monday 27th October 2008. All Application forms must be returned to your Primary School by Friday, 14th November.
Primary schools give their Year 6 students forms showing the high school they are entitled to go to as a local student based on their address. Parents then apply to that high school, or another of their choosing.
Moorebank High School has limited places for out of area enrolments and these are allocated after local enrolments have been processed. Put Moorebank High School as your preferred school if you would like your child to experience the quality educational environment offered here at Moorebank.
